Radio head unit (RHU) rebuild

Capacitor and board repair for the factory radio head unit.

Book a rebuild

Factory radio head units get the same capacitor and board repair as the engine computers: failed capacitors replaced, leaked electrolyte cleaned off the board, and damage repaired. The rebuild is a flat $400 USD$560 CAD.

Prices include return shipping to the United States and Canada. Drop the unit off and pick it up in Edmonton and we take $50 USD$70 CAD off in lieu of return shipping.

How it works

Sending us your board

Mark the package for repair and return. Any C.O.D. fees we are charged at the border are added to the repair cost.

  1. Get in touch

    Email [email protected] or use the contact form to arrange service of your board.

  2. Ship it to Edmonton

    Send the unit at your cost to our service centre in Edmonton, AB, Canada, or drop it off in person.

  3. Test and repair

    We test, examine and repair the unit. If it can't be fixed, you don't pay for the repair.

  4. Back to you

    Return shipping via Canada Post / USPS is included, with a 2 year warranty on the rebuild.
