Wanted to shout out James Grieve (3SHub.com) and his ECU rebuild service - just got mine back and it worked! My '93 TT in the summer was a bit rough on idle and in a few rev ranges, and the CEL flickered on a few times. At one point the car just went dead on the highway. Unpleasant. Shortly after that it wouldn't start. Did all of the usual troubleshooting with some advice from James and eliminated the usual suspects, which meant it was likely the ECU.

A few things I appreciated - James had a test '93 TT and he first put my ECU in his car to verify it was indeed the ECU. Cleaned, recapped. Retested to verify it works and boom everything started up. Work was done in a few days - the whole thing took ~7 days including shipping time. Thx James. Great to have the car running again.
